Birk Crag Chestnut Click Beetle Hunt

North Yorkshire Council are encouraging visitors to Birk Crag in Harrogate to keep an eye out for the Chestnut Click Beetle (Anostirus castaneus), which only has modern records at Birk Crag (quite some time ago as you may know) and on the isle of Wight. They are encouraging visitors to keep an eye out for click beetles and to submit records to iRecord where they can be identified by the species group expert verifiers.
