About the location
A Site of Special Scientific Interest for the local and rare species in the original grassland and marsh communities. Due to agricultural activities, the wildflowers are now largely limited to the south of the site. Of particular note is the presence of bird's-eye primrose, felwort and in the wetter communities, bog pimpernel, brookweed and parsley water dropwort.
