Habitat:
About the location
An interesting site for birds. Ring Ouzel, Wheatear and Whinchat frequent the hillsides above the reservoirs during the spring and summer months. Common Sandpiper sometimes nest in the rocky reservoir margins, although the reservoirs themselves are bleak and attract only limited bird life. Dipper and Grey Wagtail are possible on the river, with Spotted and Pied Flycatcher, Redstart and several species of warbler in the surrounding woodland.
